About me:
I’m an integrative gay counsellor with experience working therapeutically with trauma, including sexual trauma, and I’m keen to offer a safe, affirming space for LGBT clients. My work is grounded in compassion, curiosity, and respect for each person’s lived experience, and I’m particularly interested in developing my practice further with LGBT communities. Alongside my trauma work, I also have a growing interest in working as a sex therapist, supporting clients around issues of intimacy, identity, and sexual wellbeing.

Area of interest:
LGBTQ, eating disorder, anxiety, just for example.

Age range:
18 and over

About me:
I identify as a queer woman and came out in my early 20’s. I am a person-centred counsellor with over 15 years’ counselling experience. I feel passionate about working with people who identify LGBTQ+, including those who are neurodiverse or feeling marginalised.

My private practice is at my home, where I aim to provide a safe empathic non-judgmental space for clients to explore their feelings, life challenges and personal hopes for the future.

In my private life, I love being in nature walking or trail running. I live with my wife, our two cats and dog.

Area of interest:
LGBTQ+, personal empowerment, low self-confidence, bereavement and loss, including pet loss.

I use an integrative approach which means I mix talking therapy with useful approaches and techniques including drawing, visual imagery, using objects, mindfulness exercises, assertiveness skills and self-care tools.
